Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a Basic Physician Trainee to join our team for the 2024 training year.

This role plays a vital part in the provision of high-quality clinical care to patients requiring medical services in Latrobe Regional Health.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Clinical competence at a level commensurate with the number of years since graduation of medicine
  • Demonstrated ability to pursue both formal and self-directed learning in clinical practice, and some evidence of developing ability to teach more junior doctors and medical students
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
