Linux Software Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux software specialist to join our team.
This role involves working on complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes and other open source software. You will work closely with our Field, Support and product engineering teams to deliver solutions and improve our products.
- Resolve complex technical issues through troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Maintain close relationships with cross-functional teams to drive business success
- Participate in upstream communities to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
- Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and collaborate with upstream developers for inclusion
- Review code produced by other engineers to ensure quality and consistency
- Exercise good judgment in technical methods and techniques to drive results
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Contribute to team discussions to improve processes, tools, and documentation
