Job Title: Strategic Immigration Professional

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Strategic Immigration Professional. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in providing expert technical advice on immigration issues, including visa options and eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing visa-related tasks, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including managers and HR business partners, to provide timely advice and guidance on immigration matters.
  • Manage Labour Market Testing initiatives, working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to workforce planning initiatives by implementing and managing processes to retain employees working on visas.
  • Work within tight deadlines, adapting to shifting priorities effectively and establishing efficient systems for managing visa-related tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Registration as a Migration Agent (MARA) with a valid registration number.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in immigration or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate autonomously and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in navigating complex organizations and building relationships across different levels.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of Australian immigration legislation.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation and organizational policies and practices.
