Job Title: Urgent Care Practice Nurse

We are seeking an experienced nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic urgent care environment.

About the Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for patients presenting to urgent care, identifying appropriate action and escalating emergency situations promptly.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with medical practitioners to provide person-centered care activities, ensuring desired clinical outcomes.
  • Deliver health education to patients as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions.
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience in triage in an emergency department, preferably 1 year minimum.
  • 3 years' experience as an RN preferred.
  • Ability to assess and recognize health deterioration, escalating appropriately.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and delegate when necessary.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
