Ultrasound Team Leader Position

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Ultrasound Leadership team. We are seeking an experienced qualified Sonographer looking to step into leadership.

The successful candidate will report to the Ultrasound Modality Manager and have direct responsibility for a group of Sonographers. Their scope of responsibility will cover for the Southern Region.

  • Provide direction, support and recognition to promote collaboration, cooperation and teamwork through effective leadership strategies.
  • Promote and implement the performance management process.
  • Identify and support professional development.
  • Supervise and support less experienced staff members and trainees.
  • Proactively assess bookings and workflows.
  • Be the designated point of contact for Ultrasound equipment in clinic.
  • Stay informed of the latest innovative imaging techniques within the Ultrasound Modality.
  • Contribute to, implement and deliver strategic business plans.
  • Assist with technical administration functions of the Modality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates a passion to lead and inspire others.
  • Has high level problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Has exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Is an ASAR member and holds Professional Indemnity Insurance (ASA or ASUM).
