Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Environmental Professional to join our dynamic team at a leading copper mine. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Environmental Science or a related field to apply their knowledge and passion for environmental management in a high-impact industry while gaining hands-on experience in site-based environmental practices.

This role involves working closely with experienced environmental professionals and operational teams to support environmental management across site activities, including site-based environmental monitoring and inspections, greenhouse gas and EPA reporting requirements, and assisting with environmental risk assessments and compliance obligations.

As part of our Environment Team, you will gain exposure to a range of disciplines and play a vital role in ensuring compliance and sustainability at the mine. You will also have opportunities to contribute to environmental planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site-based environmental monitoring and inspections
  • Assist with environmental risk assessments and compliance obligations
  • Support rehabilitation and land management projects
  • Contribute to environmental planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • A recently completed degree in Environmental Science or a related field
  • A strong interest in environmental management within the resources sector
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach
