**Safety Leader Role**

This critical senior site-based position is responsible for implementing and managing a comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) program on construction or mining sites. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in senior HSE leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust HSE strategy to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and promote a culture of safety.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective control measures to mitigate hazards.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and developing corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions to enhance OH&S knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of OH&S performance measures and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in senior HSE leadership positions, preferably in construction or mining.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

  • 12 hour day shifts may be required.
  • A valid WA C class driver's license is essential.
