Health, Safety and Environment Leader

The successful candidate will lead our organization's safety strategy and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing a comprehensive HSE management system
- Coordinating audits, investigations and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Providing coaching and guidance to leaders on site and in workshops to enhance safety performance
- Managing incidents, reporting and insurer liaison to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance
- Driving continuous improvement in safety culture and systems through monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma or degree in Health, Safety and Environment (or similar)
- Proven experience in developing and implementing ISO systems and compliance protocols
- Background in construction, engineering, demolition or asbestos removal with a strong understanding of related hazards and risks
- Skilled in audits, investigations and risk management with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence and communicate across all levels
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel to sites as required
