Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our safety management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental standards are upheld on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management: Develop, implement and monitor health, safety and environmental policies and procedures on-site.
  • Risk Assessment and Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure adherence to safety practices and standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Manage safety protocols across different phases of construction, from project initiation through to completion.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance site safety.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety (Degree, Diploma or Cert 4)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage health, safety and environmental practices across a project from start to finish
  • Experience dealing with multiple subcontractors and coordinating safety efforts across various trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.)
  • Valid Drivers Licence and First Aid Cert
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with site personnel and subcontractors
  • Working at Heights & White Card - Essential
  • Tilt up panel construction experience – Advantageous
