Senior Field Service Technician Role Overview

The Senior Field Service Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of clients' CNC machinery and automation systems.

As a technical expert, you will be responsible for providing on-site support, maintenance, and repairs of CNC machines and related equipment.

  • Installations, maintenance, and repairs of CNC machines and associated gear are performed on-site by you.
  • You diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, implementing efficient solutions.
  • Training and guidance are provided to clients on the proper use and upkeep of their CNC systems.
  • A thorough record is maintained of all work done and detailed service records are kept.
  • Collaboration with the engineering and sales teams ensures client satisfaction.
  • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives enhances our service offerings.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical position.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of CNC machine technology.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively collaborate with clients.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Relevant technical certifications, qualifications, and/or experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
