About the Position

As a Senior Electrical Operations Manager, you will lead a team of experts to ensure safe and efficient electrical access, installation, and associated works on our network.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects while prioritizing safety at all times.

You will be expected to build individual and team capability, driving high performance while ensuring compliance with all internal processes and regulatory obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage and develop a team of electrical operations specialists to ensure competence levels are satisfying project requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Project management: Support project work coordination, forecasting, and scheduling to meet project demands.
  • Communication/time management: Ensure plans meet specified standards, are endorsed, and communicated to teams attending sites within the specified timeframes.
  • Financial management: Coordinate resources to deliver electrical operations works while maintaining budget, performance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Planning: Design work tasks and resources to maximize efficiency and output.
  • Stakeholder management: Engage key stakeholders across the organization to develop beneficial relationships.
  • Implement processes to drive high performance and team efficiency.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive experience leading a team of electrical operations specialists.
  • Qualified First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Experience with High Voltage systems, project management tools, and resource planning.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks affecting business outcomes.
  • A great communicator with the ability to influence cultural change through new practices.
