Peter Warren Automotive, a leading multi-franchise automotive dealer group in Australia, is seeking a highly skilled Dealership Accountant to join their Warwick Farm team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily and monthly accounting for multiple franchises, supervising one Assistant Accountant.
  • Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements for various franchises.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare the monthly Business Activity Statement.
  • Maintain and submit financial reports to manufacturers.
  • Mentor and manage workflows for an Assistant Accountant.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with automotive accounting software, such as Pentana, preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills essential.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop skills.
