We are seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team at Westfield Carousel. This role requires managing conflicting priorities with agility and working closely with the Facilities Manager to oversee infrastructure management and maintenance.
Your key responsibilities will include:- Lead and develop the Facilities coordination team to deliver quality results on time and on budget, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Assist with management centre lifecycle planning and deliver priorities and capital needs to the Asset Team.
- Prepare centre budget and forecasts, documenting assumptions and seeking efficiencies to protect assets and stakeholders.
- Ensure all asset maintenance, contractor or compliance data is captured and accessible centrally, accurate, and current to enable real-time reporting.
- Maintain and enhance key stakeholder relationships and promote workplace Health and Safety cultural improvement.
- As a part of our asset team, you will also have Duty Management responsibilities from time to time, where you'll be required to work 1 out of 4 weekends, which will be balanced with a day off in lieu.
- Trade-based qualifications are preferred but not essential.
- Prior experience leading and operating within a large asset is required.
- 3+ years' experience within a retail property facilities management or similar customer-centric environment.
- Commercial acumen and demonstrated experience balancing financial needs with technical outcomes.
- Demonstrated skill in coordinating technical and operational stakeholders, as well as able to provide clarity of instructions as needed.
- Ability to adapt and use management systems and software.
- A collaborative, welcoming, inclusive, and supportive culture.
