Job Description

Job Title: Store Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at TenTops. As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading our customer service team and ensuring that our stores operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customer service assistants are providing excellent customer service and making personal contact with customers.
  • Store Operations: Responsible for achieving store goals as provided by the Operations Manager, leading Front End Operations, and maintaining the store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers at all times.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on our customer service values, assist in supervising all team members, and assist in training, coaching, and development of all assistants.
  • Financial Management: Assist with payroll process, ensure payroll is within budget, and drive store sales and controls expenses.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Assist in merchandising procedures, receiving and stocking procedures, and receiving deliveries and management of invoicing/paperwork.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure a strong culture of safety at all times, including the correct use of carton cutter, ladders, and trolleys.

Requirements:

  • Recent Relevant Work Experience: Recent relevant work experience in a retail environment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated understanding and willingness to provide excellence in customer service.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to multi-task, direct, and manage people.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with an extrovert persona.
  • Personal Attributes: High presentation, professionalism, and enthusiasm to work within a team environment.
