Winery Maintenance Fitter

Vinarchy is seeking a skilled Winery Maintenance Fitter to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all winery systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in a similar environment.

The successful candidate will perform scheduled preventive maintenance on winery machinery and equipment, diagnose and repair mechanical faults, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on winery machinery and equipment;
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in processing equipment;
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems;
  • Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment;
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and food-grade standards;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade);
  • Experience in a winery, food/beverage processing, or manufacturing environment;
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills;
  • Fork lift Licence;
  • Understanding of Tag out procedures;
  • Understanding of working from height regulations;
  • Understanding of hot works regulations and procedures;
  • Fluid Power, Pneumatics and Hydraulics;
