Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction zones during bump-in and bump-out, as well as during the tournament. They will be an active presence across the event build site, identifying safety concerns and risk issues that may require intervention or control. Additionally, they will coordinate and communicate with contractors, clients, staff, and event personnel regarding site procedures and venue restrictions and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations of construction zones during bump-in and bump-out, as well as during the tournament.
- Identify safety concerns and risk issues that may require intervention or control.
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors, clients, staff, and event personnel regarding site procedures and venue restrictions and expectations.
- Major Event Experience, with exposure to overlay, operations, logistics.
- Contractor management experience (desirable).
- Outstanding communication skills with an ability to engage quickly with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Ability to think quickly, be agile, solution-driven, and problem-solve.
- Valid Construction Induction Card (or State or Territory equivalent) is compulsory.
- Current Victorian Driver's license (desirable).
- Current Forklift license (desirable).
- Must provide own safety boots and work clothes for bump-in and bump-out.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile event and gain valuable experience in the sports industry. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in operations management and contribute to the success of the event.
