Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing drilling programs, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and supervising contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage drilling programs and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Supervise contractors and monitor breaches of company policy.
  • Conduct data acquisition, geologic interpretation, and maintain accurate records in the database.
  • Oversee QAQC procedures, design drilling programs, and interpret results.
  • Ensure proper sampling and core handling procedures, provide logistic support, and maintain communication with field personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Geology.
  • Have an unencumbered C/HR Western Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Be eligible for Senior NPC clearance.
  • Have senior first aid certification (desirable).
  • Possess previous vacation experience in a geology/mining role (desirable).
  • Have practical background in resource definition, exploration geology, and database management.
  • Be able to engage teams, solve problems, and build/maintain positive relationships.
  • Be proficient in English at an Australian Upper Secondary School standard.
  • Understand mining and geostatistical software.
