Facilities Care Specialist

This is a full-time opportunity to join our maintenance team and contribute to ensuring the aged care home is always looking and operating at its very best.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work as part of a dynamic team to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
  2. Adhere to established best practices and maintain homes to the highest standard.
  3. Collaborate in a busy team environment where no day is ever the same.
  4. Work alongside contractors, ensuring all work carried out meets compliance requirements.
  5. Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including patching & painting, replacing globes, and basic building maintenance tasks.
  6. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and system processes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in aged care, but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • A current NSW driver's license.
  • Ability to interact with elderly residents on a daily basis.
