Job Overview

Serve as a strategic leader for production teams, reporting directly to the CEO. Translate business objectives into actionable operational plans with measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Host weekly production meetings across managed teams.
  • Mentor team leads through regular 1:1s, fostering people leadership growth and development.
  • Oversee production calendars and resourcing, coordinate budgets, review estimates, and ensure capacity is visible.
  • Establish decision-making gates and quality checks for shoots, edits, publishing, and events.
  • Lead event delivery at a program level, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Guide content and video production cadence and standards, implementing practical process improvements.
  • Align help/education content with product releases, providing accurate and easy-to-use guides.
  • Monitor outcomes and budget variance, sharing updates with the CEO and product leadership.
  • Be open to occasional interstate travel for key shoots, events, or vendor meetings when presence adds clear value.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in production across content and live events.
  • Enjoy transforming ideas into valuable outputs for multiple business areas.
  • Be hands-on enough to unblock and wise enough to step back.
  • Be happy to work on-site in Hobart and open to occasional interstate travel.
