Key Business Partner Role

We are seeking experienced HR professionals to support our operations in a dynamic business partnering opportunity.

This role would suit advisors, senior advisors, HR business partners or senior HRBPs and end-to-end HR managers looking for a chance to work closely with operational leadership and stakeholders.

Face-to-face engagement with stakeholders is essential. Flexible working arrangements are available, including FIFO options from Adelaide with regular travel to Whyalla required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong relationships across operational business units.
  • Provide strategic and tactical HR advice and solutions.
  • Offer guidance on employee and industrial relations issues, investigations, issue resolution, performance management and employment agreement interpretation.
  • Drive annual HR processes including performance reviews, remuneration cycles, talent mapping, succession planning and employee engagement surveys.
  • Lead own projects based on skills and experience.

You also require:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Psychology or other people-focused disciplines.
  • Proven HR experience with or without heavy industry experience.
  • Experience working with ER and IR issues in unionised environments.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment law.
  • Ability to present complex concepts well.
