Commissioner Role - HVAC and Refrigeration

We are seeking a skilled Commissioner to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our national team, you will be responsible for commissioning new, refurbished, and existing refrigeration systems for projects across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day and site-specific aspects of the commissioning portion of the installation of commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Commissioning of all refrigerated plants and equipment, including compressor racks, satellite systems, condensers, control systems, mechanical controls, and refrigerated fixtures.
  • Review site-specific documents at project inception to mitigate against issues or omissions throughout the project.
  • Creation and submission of I/O lists for controls schedules.
  • Development of controller programs and setpoint files for site-specific requirements.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification - Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning); or Endorsed Contractor Licence (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning).
  • Arctick Refrigerant Handling Licence and Driver's Licence.
  • Previous experience within the supermarket refrigeration industry.
  • Strong end-to-end processes and lean processes.
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and good time management and organisational skills.
