Job Summary

This is a key leadership role that will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with HVO's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that drive business outcomes and support the achievement of HVO's goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee all aspects of end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, leadership development, and site-based payroll activities.
  3. Lead HR projects with exceptional attention to detail and stakeholder engagement, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  4. Champion employee engagement, culture, and wellbeing, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  5. Support organizational effectiveness solutions and initiatives that contribute to building a high-performance culture.
  6. Provide accurate and timely people management advice to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  7. Coach and mentor leaders in performance management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance resolution, promoting a culture of accountability and respect.
  8. Provide leadership and coaching to the HR team, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to excel in their roles.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven experience in a HR Manager role with a comprehensive knowledge of HR-related functions, including leadership development, culture, performance management, and recruitment.
  2. Excellent interpersonal influencing, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  3. A strong commitment to delivering high-quality HR outcomes in an accurate and timely manner, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  4. Working knowledge of state and federal employment legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective way.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and resilience.
  6. Relevant degree/qualification in HR or other relevant field, or equivalent experience.
