Job Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work as a Horticultural Field Officer in a unique environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the presentation and care of a living collection.

The main objectives of this position are:

  • Undertake best-practice horticultural maintenance and techniques to enhance the health and presentation of our living collection.
  • Provide a visible presence on site and interact with visitors to present a professional and welcoming image.
  • Conduct regular inspections and report on maintenance requirements using electronic asset management systems.
  • Operate and maintain machinery, including small plant, spray equipment, chainsaws, etc.
  • Supervise apprentices and volunteer activities.
  • Ensure a high standard of safety within all work practices.
  • Ensure cleanliness of depot facilities and equipment, including storage areas and plant machinery.

This is a contract position until further notice. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about horticulture and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
