Academic Leader in Nursing

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide leadership and make outstanding contributions to nursing research, scholarship, and teaching. As a joint appointment between the university and Metro North Health, you will play a key role in enhancing our students' experience.
- Translate evidence into clinical practice in this collaborative role with Metro North Health.
- Develop a research program centred on hospital health service priorities.
- Establish a functional link between the Faculty of Health Sciences and The Prince Charles Hospital Queensland in nursing research and education.
As a Nursing Professor, you will work between two base locations at ACU's Brisbane campus and The Prince Charles Hospital at Chermside. You will focus on developing relevant research and scholarship.
Requirements for Success- A doctoral qualification in Nursing.
- Current registration in AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven expertise in producing high-quality publications and competitive grants.
- Strategic thinking and high-level communication skills.
- Commitment to academic and research excellence.
- Negotiation skills and business acumen.
