About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to shape our compliance strategy, offering expert guidance and leadership on regulatory and internal issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy market regulations, particularly gas markets and wholesale electricity markets.

  • Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, law, regulation, or relevant discipline
  • Proven experience in compliance frameworks, including developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting and applying legislation

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to create and implement strong, risk-based controls. Additionally, you will track compliance performance, investigate potential violations, manage interactions with regulators, and ensure accurate and timely reports.

  • A strong understanding of energy market regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting and applying legislation
  • Proven experience in compliance program development and implementation
