Job Title: Compliance Officer - Marine Park Permissions and Environmental Management Charge
">This role is responsible for assisting in the management and delivery of the Marine Parks permission compliance program, which includes managing compliance with Environmental Management Charge (EMC) obligations.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking regulatory compliance associated with Marine Park permissions and the EMC, including researching, interpreting and applying relevant Commonwealth legislation, policy, procedures and guidelines.
">Key responsibilities include being accountable for the accurate collection and reconciliation of revenue from the EMC according to legislative and policy requirements, providing advice and education to permit holders, and preparing official correspondence such as advisory letters.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing tasks and meeting timeframes.
">They will also have an ability to interpret and apply relevant policy/legislation, ideally in the marine environment, experience in negotiation, relationship and stakeholder management, and a strong sense of duty and teamwork.
