Are you a passionate and driven individual looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families?

Family Day Care and In-Home Child Care are seeking accomplished professionals to join our Board of Directors.

As a Board member, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation and ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and families.

The Board is responsible for providing effective governance, oversight, and leadership to the organisation. We are looking for individuals with a strong track record of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and expertise in governance and compliance, financial management, and accounting.

You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering exceptional home-based early education and care for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the organisation;
  • Ensure effective governance and oversight;
  • Make informed decisions that align with the organisation's purpose and values;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures;
  • Represent the organisation at various events and functions.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of strategic thinking and leadership;
  • Strong expertise in governance and compliance, financial management, and accounting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 8-10 hours per month;
  • Available to attend quarterly Board meetings and committee meetings as required.
