We are seeking an HSEQ Coordinator to join our team, responsible for providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters to the project team. This role offers a chance to grow your skills and knowledge while making a tangible impact on the company's success.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement effective HSEQ strategies and plans to meet legislative, client, and company requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of HSEQ processes and protocols.
- Foster a proactive approach to incident and risk management, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Provide high-level guidance on best practices to continuously improve HSEQ performance.
Requirements:
- A degree in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management or a related field (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment preferred).
- Relevant experience in a HSEQ Management/Coordinator role, with a minimum of two years' experience.
- In-depth understanding of Qld Coal Mining HSEQ legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
