Job Description:

About the Position

We are seeking a Chemistry Instructor to join our faculty and contribute to the development of teaching activities for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The successful candidate will assume key responsibilities associated with normal teaching duties, including curriculum development and collaboration with the academic team in program change and innovation.

In addition, the successful candidate will make original contributions to our research output, income, and impact by fostering a strong research culture that includes international collaboration, competitive grants, and high-quality publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience and excellence in tertiary teaching in analytical, environmental, inorganic, or general chemistry, and/or biochemistry.
  • Contribution to teaching, administrative duties, coordination, and curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Commitment to leading-edge education practices, blended learning formats, online teaching, and the use of case studies, role-plays, and simulations in the learning environment.
  • Understanding of research in the university context, capacity in various research methods, and a track record of publishing in discipline-relevant quality academic journals.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification.
