About the Role

As Senior Mission Systems Engineer on the MQ-4C Triton, you will be responsible for identifying and managing network integration risks. You will work closely with US counterparts to develop technical knowledge of Triton network systems and integration protocols.

The role involves ongoing management of the Triton mission system through evaluation and assessment of network changes. Delivering outcomes as assigned from the Triton Interim Support Contract and relevant statements of work is also an essential part of this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and manage network integration risks for the Triton Network.
  • Develop deep technical knowledge of Triton network systems and integration protocols.
  • Evaluate and assess network changes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Deliver assigned outcomes from the Triton Interim Support Contract and relevant statements of work.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in IT or Engineering.
  • Have experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Be skilled in Network Engineering and hold Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent.
  • Have experience with the network development life cycle process, routing and switching systems, defence systems, and more.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and adapt to new systems quickly.

Employment Requirements

A Defence security clearance is required for this role. As such, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may also impact your suitability for this role. Police checks and employment screening verification are mandatory.
