The Reliability Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment at our Ballarat Potato Plant. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and engaging both mechanical and electrical maintenance teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the McCain Driving Impact (MDI) Strategy as the Maintenance Lead, utilizing the framework to improve equipment reliability and deliver factory KPIs.
- Manage mechanical and electrical teams in accordance with McCain Foods policies and procedures, including scheduling and training.
- Liaise with all factory departments to coordinate maintenance activities for the Mechanical and Electrical teams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, services, equipment manuals, and inventory using SAP.
- Manage the repair of breakdowns and lead Root Cause Analysis.
- Engage in new installations and upgrades with the Engineering department.
- Manage contractors on site in accordance with McCain Foods policies and procedures.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with:
- Bachelor of engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related area.
- 5+ years' experience working in a FMCG company.
- 2+ years of direct people leadership experience (desirable).
- Contractor and High Risk Work management.
- Confident in working with others at all levels.
- High level of computer literacy and ability to analyze data.
- Lean manufacturing experience in TPM, 6Sigma, MDI.
