About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Manager to join our dynamic team at our Ballarat head office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, authorization, and control of all fleet assets. You will manage vendor relationships, oversee insurance renewals, handle traffic citations and accidents, and ensure accurate billing for fleet services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with key vendors in Australia and New Zealand
  • Maintain accurate records of current vehicles, including driver details, VINs, and operating hours
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with branches
  • Recommend vehicle disposal when they become uneconomical
  • Process registrations, insurance, fuel cards, tolls, and fines
  • Ensure quality control for delivered vehicles and address supplier issues
  • Execute other duties as assigned by management
About You
  • Some post-secondary education in business administration is an asset but not required
  • Problem-solving skills; ability to assess situation; evaluate options and select and act upon best solution
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Good interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
