About the Role

A highly skilled leader with a strong background in horticulture is required to oversee and coordinate garden maintenance activities.

This full-time position offers 38 hours per week, opportunities for career advancement, and a chance to lead a team of skilled professionals in ensuring high standards of garden maintenance are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage a team of maintenance staff, prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient completion of garden maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement schedules to ensure timely completion of planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing tasks.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance the team's horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • White Card
  • Valid Drivers' license
  • Ride on mower and trailer experience
