Landscaping and Garden Maintenance Manager

The Landscaping and Garden Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional landscaping and garden maintenance at our Castle Hill seniors village.

  • Leadership: Provide daily leadership to grounds and gardening teams, setting clear expectations and allocating tasks.
  • Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of lawns, gardens, bushland, and seasonal vegetation across the site.
  • Planning: Develop and implement detailed maintenance schedules, planting guides, and seasonal plans.
  • Team Management: Foster a safe, high-performing, and engaged team, including mentoring apprentices and coordinating rostering and leave.
  • Capital Works: Manage capital works and improvement projects in collaboration with facilities and asset teams.
  • Resident Engagement: Respond to resident feedback and represent Anglicare at resident and stakeholder meetings.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing grounds, gardens, or landscaping in a large site or facility and strong leadership capabilities, including staff supervision, performance management, and team development.


Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in grounds management, landscaping, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and resource allocation.
