Job Title:

Australia Payroll Director

About the Role:

The Australia Payroll Director will be accountable for all payroll activities, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant pay.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for payroll processing in Australia
  • Continually identifying and assessing risks within the payroll process
  • Proactive engagement with multiple senior stakeholders to ensure effective communication
  • Leading & supporting team members through implementation of changes impacting Australia payroll
  • Fostering innovation and initiatives to drive continuous improvement across payroll
  • Driving team performance to build a high-performing culture
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in leading large-scale payroll operations, with detailed operational and regulatory knowledge of Australia payroll.

The ideal candidate should have deep experience in identifying operational risk and implementing controls to mitigate such risk within payroll.

Strong leadership, influencing, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across all levels of management are essential. Excellent planning and organizational skills are required. SAP payroll experience and LEAN or Six Sigma accreditation would be an advantage.
