Customer Service Trainee Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Trainee. This role will provide an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy Ophthalmology practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and managing patient records
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and following up where required
  • Maintaining reception and waiting area
  • General administration tasks, including photocopying etc.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and high attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred

National Traineeship wages and conditions apply.

About the Traineeship

This traineeship will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business within the Medical Stream, paid industry experience, and continuous mentoring from a dedicated consultant.

Upon completion, you could progress into various roles, including patient officer, management positions, and more.
