Green Space Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our outdoor maintenance team as a Green Space Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including lawn mowing, whipper snipping, pruning, tree trimming, weeding, and lawn maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high-quality lawns and outdoor spaces through regular gardening tasks such as lawn mowing, pruning, and weeding.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques, tools, and best practices in gardening and landscaping to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing time and resources to complete tasks within deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a prompt and helpful manner to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks, share insights, and optimize workflows for maximum productivity and effectiveness.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in lawn maintenance, gardening, or related fields is preferred but not required. A willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the work are essential as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for outdoor environments.
  • A Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check will be required.
