Maintaining Green Spaces

Job Title
As a member of our groundskeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various commercial sites or council-controlled roadsides and open spaces. This role involves operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, and ensuring lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard.
To excel in this position, you should have previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field. You should also be physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Additionally, you should be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Operating mowers, trimmers, and other mowing equipment to maintain green spaces.
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Ensuring lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard.
- Assisting with other groundskeeping tasks as needed.
