Test Engineering Specialist

Overview

This position involves evaluating, piloting and standardising AI tools to improve test depth, speed and reliability. It requires developing test frameworks and working closely with engineers to implement best testing practices.

The role is about championing the adoption of AI-augmented QA engineering, leveraging generative-AI tools, curating a prompt-engineering playbook and collaborating to refine requirements with AI assistants.

It also entails applying expertise in Identity and Access Management systems when validating authentication, authorisation and access workflows.

Comprehensive test coverage across both B2B and B2C use cases is essential, tailoring test strategies accordingly.

Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback is also required.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience with hands-on UI automation (Playwright preferred).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript for test automation; other coding experience acceptable if able to learn quickly.
  • Proven experience in REST API testing with a solid understanding of HTTP and client-server architecture.
  • Hands-on use of generative-AI tools for requirements analysis, test design and automation code.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to integrate new AI or testing tools into frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience with Identity and Access Management platforms.
  • Demonstrated testing experience across both B2B and B2C products and services.
