We are in search of a unique individual – a person who embodies the values of compassion, connection, and care for others. As a Lifestyle Officer, you will join a dedicated and experienced team committed to fostering a welcoming and professional care environment for our residents.

Our facility provides a nurturing atmosphere, offering a range of services including Residential Living, Independent Living, and Community Living, all within the same location.

This role is a permanent part-time position.

While your qualifications are important, your heart and dedication to service are paramount. At St Vincent's, kindness is our guiding principle.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Possession of a Certificate III or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy (or a related field).
  2. Experience in an aged care setting, particularly with dementia or Huntington's clients, is highly valued.
  3. Proven ability to develop engaging leisure programs and maintain resident documentation and assessments as necessary.
  4. Flexibility to work part-time hours throughout the week.
  5. Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  6. Capability to adhere to directives outlined in care plans.
  7. Understanding of aged care principles and resident rights and responsibilities.
  8. National Police Certificate is required.
  9. NDIS Worker Screening Check will be necessary for this position.
