About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Consultant to join our team at Ellucian Company L.P. As a key member of our professional services team, you will be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions that transform Higher Education institutions.

Your primary focus will be on consulting with our customers to provide value-added services that drive institutional success. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of consultants to ensure timely and professional delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with customers to enable their business office to process student administration and student accounts, including transformation to cloud/SAAS solutions.
  • Manage client expectations, ensure completion of engagements within an agreed-upon timeframe, and resolve client issues relating to the implementation of Ellucian's solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and functional staff, including those responsible for day-to-day operations, managerial, and executive levels.
  • Develop, present, and defend rational conclusions, recommendations, and implementation strategies.
  • Anticipate and resolve software problems and solve difficult challenges with occasional need for assistance from others.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Student Information Systems modules, including enrollment, curriculum, records, and registration.
  • Minimum 15+ years' experience in a consulting services environment, with a focus on Higher Education preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience working in a Higher Education student business office.
  • Bachelor's degree from a Regionally Accredited institution.
  • Ability to keep up with new product functionalities and train others on new functionality.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
