About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Entura. As a subject matter expert in electrical engineering and power systems, you will contribute to a diverse range of projects, leveraging your expertise in transmission and distribution infrastructure.

As a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer, you will provide specialist technical input to projects, serve as a subject matter expert for clients, and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver transmission and distribution projects. You will also leverage your contacts in the electricity network to raise the profile of Entura's work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing specialist technical input to a diverse range of projects.
  • Participating in the pursuit, development, and delivery of present and future planned Renewable Energy and transmission projects.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert for clients who wish to develop, design, maintain, expand, upgrade, or rebuild their transmission and distribution infrastructure.
  • Liaising with, supporting, and leading multi-disciplinary Entura teams that support all phases and aspects of transmission projects.
About You

You are a subject matter expert in electrical engineering and power systems, with a background working in the energy sector and significant understanding and knowledge of Power Transmission and Distribution from a consulting perspective.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Adaptability to work in multidisciplinary teams and changing situations.
  • Strong organizational skills, working diligently under pressure to meet client demands.
  • Commitment to the career development of your team members.
  • Strong understanding of the National Electricity Rules.
  • Ability to champion the verification and approval process within a consultancy environment.
