Open Space Manager

- Oversee the effective management of open space, horticulture and biodiversity teams to deliver high-quality maintenance programs in accordance with Council policies.
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational management of the Department, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards through regular assessments and audits of open space maintenance works.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders based on trust and effective communication.
- Manage contracts and inspect works carried out by contractors or Council teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, promoting a positive work culture that values continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
As a key leader in the Parks leadership team, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver community-focused outcomes that support environmental sustainability, amenity and civic pride across Glen Eira.
