Personal Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in their own homes.
As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily needs, ensuring they maintain their independence and dignity. You will work closely with registered nurses to develop personalized care plans, focusing on the unique needs of each client.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support clients with meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any changes in client health or wellbeing to RNs
To be successful as a Personal Care Worker, you must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in community care, preferably in dementia care
- A Certificate III in Aged Care
- First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS screening check
- Working with Children Check
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
