About the Role:The Demand Planner role involves developing accurate forecasts and ensuring optimal supply planning across our network. The focus will be on maintaining product availability, minimizing costs, improving freshness, and reducing obsolescence. Collaboration with Sales, Regional Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service teams is key to aligning demand and supply plans effectively.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with market trends
- Analyze demand variances, identify trends, and drive improvements in forecast accuracy
- Monitor supply outlook and inventory levels to support supply planning and avoid stockouts
- Participate in S&OP cycles, providing data-driven insights
- Communicate supply risks and implement recovery plans
- Maintain data integrity across planning systems (SAP, JDA Demand, BW)
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage supply issues and ensure transparency
- University degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Experience in demand and supply planning, forecasting, and inventory management in FMCG
- Strong understanding of customer service, order management, and physical distribution systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
