About the Role

At Rest, we're seeking a skilled Senior Business Process & Change Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a vital role in defining and implementing target business process operating models, driving change, and ensuring successful transition to business as usual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change Management: Apply a structured approach to organizational change management, articulating scope, benefits, and business outcomes of change required.
  • Operational Excellence: Design and drive the adoption of target operating model change through collaboration with stakeholders and development of a sustainable future-state operating model.
  • Change Practice: Take an active and senior role in maturing the change practice within Investments to ensure focus on people and successful transition to business as usual.
  • Business Process Analysis: Work with Business Process Analysts to ensure requirements are clear and process maps are reflective of end-to-end business processes.
  • Change Integration: Work with IS&T functional leads and project managers to ensure change activities are integrated in the schedule and provide expertise, direct support, and coaching to impacted teams as they move through the change, including parallel runs.
  • Training and Development: Work with Project and Business Teams to support the training processes for business adoption of the operating model/business process changes.
  • Change Impact Management: Plan, communicate, and manage the SMEs' time and capacity requirements that can be tracked in a Change Impact Heatmap for presentation to the Investments Steering Committee and MIC members.
  • Reporting and Governance: Prepare Status Reports for required Steering Committee and other governance forums.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • IIBA or similar industry standard certification preferred
  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation and investment management operating models and ecosystems (Front & Middle Office)
  • Significant demonstrable experience in ensuring the adoption of new operating models, business processes, and systems
  • Previous experience for technical and functional change projects
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA and Confluence) and within an Agile delivery environment
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, issues management, and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and reporting/presentation skills, including the ability to influence people at all levels, and foster and maintain collaborative working relationships both within and outside the organization
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize workloads
