Senior Practice Leader Opportunity

Slater and Gordon Lawyers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practice Leader to join our well-established Work and Road team in Brisbane. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our practice group and contributing to the growth and development of our lawyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Practice in achieving business-unit strategy and delivering operational, financial, client, and people targets.
  • Supervise and manage a team of lawyers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal advice and client outcomes.
  • Develop and implement business development plans to grow the practice group and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with other practice leaders to identify process efficiencies and practice management improvements.
  • Provide feedback to the Head of Practice on the quality and efficacy of new client triage and suggest improvements.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, law societies, the Courts, insurers, defendants, government, counsel, medical, and allied health professionals.
Requirements
  • Post-admission experience (8+ PAE) as a Personal Injury Lawyer, preferably in Work and Road.
  • Sound legal technical experience and ability to demonstrate a high level of expert and specialist knowledge within the defined practice area.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of staff and prior experience leading and motivating legal professionals.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to show initiative.
  • Sound technical and functional skills to support others and a team player.
