Senior Associate to Special Counsel Level Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney at the Senior Associate to Special Counsel level to join our prestigious law firm in Gold Coast. As a key member of our litigation team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial litigation matters, including insolvency, corporate disputes, and construction litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a broad range of commercial litigation matters, such as insolvency, corporate disputes, and construction litigation (QBCC).
- Engaging in defamation cases, contractual disputes, body corporate issues, and insurance litigation.
- Managing employment disputes, wills & estates litigation, and, if desired, personal injury matters like motor accidents, work cover, and public liability claims.
- Drafting legal documents, initiating court proceedings, and representing clients in various legal forums, including court and QCAT.
- Working with a diverse client base, from individuals to large corporations, including ASX-listed companies and high-net-worth individuals.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years PAE in commercial litigation within a private practice setting.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
- Strong drafting skills and courtroom experience across a broad range of litigation matters.
- Willingness to work from either the Brisbane or Gold Coast office, with a focus on growing the Gold Coast litigation practice.
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive approach to expanding the firm's client base.
- Current Queensland practising certificate.
