We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team. As a professional in the painting industry, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for various commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up scaffolding and ladders to ensure safe working conditions
  • Prepare surfaces by stripping old paint or wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling cracks and holes, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
  • Mix paints to achieve the required colours by combining pigments, oils, and thinning or drying additives
  • Install wallpaper by aligning patterns and trimming edges for a seamless finish
  • Clean tools, equipment, and work areas after completing tasks
  • Perform minor window repairs and replace glass in wooden or metal frames as needed
  • Install and repair wall and floor tiles to enhance interior and exterior finishes
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with client specifications
  • Advise clients on appropriate materials, finishes, and techniques to achieve desired results
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of painting supplies and tools
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year experience in an Australian setting
  • At least Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
