**Company Overview**

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to fill the position of Area Manager Decorative Building Products Trade. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the construction industry and be able to effectively communicate their ideas to various stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**

As the new Area Manager, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and develop a territory consisting of Cabinet Makers, Retailers & Stone Masons in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. You will also be responsible for unearthing new opportunities within the Residential Construction space.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Strong presentation skills with an ambitious & outgoing personality
  • Experience in Stone and/or Decorative Surfaces is highly desired
  • Existing relationships with at least one of the desired customer segments
  • Experience within building products/construction sales is essential
  • Proven track record in sales and overachieving targets
  • Good technical understanding of the construction industry in general
